Pottery Workshop: Porcelain trinket box workshop. Sunday 12th July (3-4 hour session starting at 1pm) £75 Join us for a hands-on pottery workshop led by guest artist Katie Almond. Discover the beauty of highly decorative ceramics in this inspiring workshop led by Katie. Create your own unique porcelain trinket box, brought to life with richly layered textures and intricate surface details. Throughout the session, you’ll explore a range of hand-building techniques alongside exciting decorative processes. Experiment with impressing patterns using an extensive collection of stamps and rollers, try mono printing with underglazes, and discover the expressive possibilities of sgraffito and inlay. You’ll then bring your designs together to construct a beautifully personalised porcelain box. Perfect for all skill levels, this creative workshop offers a relaxed and inspiring space to learn, experiment, and make something truly special. Workshop Details: What You’ll Make: A small trinket box in porcelain clay and underglazes to add colour. Techniques Covered: Slab work, impressing textures, hand modelling and colouring clay with underglaze. Important Notes: Materials Provided: All clay, tools, and glazes are supplied.
