Pottery Workshop: Porcelain dishes workshop. Sunday 6th September (3 hour session starting at 1pm) £70 Join us for a hand building porcelain workshop led by guest artist Katie Almond. Discover the beauty of highly decorative ceramics in this inspiring workshop led by Katie. Create your own set of unique porcelain dishes, brought to life with richly layered textures and intricate surface details. Throughout the session, you’ll explore slab work using a slump mould to create two dishes alongside exciting decorative processes. Experiment with impressing patterns using an extensive collection of stamps and rollers, try mono printing with underglazes, and discover the expressive possibilities of sgraffito and inlay. Perfect for all skill levels, this creative workshop offers a relaxed and inspiring space to learn, experiment, and make something truly special. Workshop Details: What You’ll Make: 1-2 small dishes in porcelain clay and underglazes to add colour. Techniques Covered: Slab work, slump mould, impressing textures, hand modelling and colouring clay with underglaze. Important Notes: Materials Provided: All clay, tools, and glazes are supplied. Just bring your designs and creativity! Collection: Pieces will be ready to pick up within 4-6 weeks of the workshop. Please note that no alternative dates given.
